The smartwatch manufacturer Fossil unveiled their first collaboration with the famous sports brand, Puma. As you’d expect, the Puma smartwatches are aimed at fitness enthusiasts, but that doesn’t mean they skimp on smart features too.

Like the Michael Kors Access MKGO (one of the new Michael Kors Access smartwatches), the Puma devices don’t feature the latest Fossil Gen 5 hardware, but they have been designed with a fitness-first focus.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform powers the watches and also run Google’s Wear OS smartwatch operating system. There is tight integration with Google Fit, so tracking your workouts is a breeze, and the data will be synced to your phone and the cloud. This means your workout data is available wherever you need it.

The Puma watches have a battery life of about a day, so can put in on charge when you get home in the evening. With rapid charging, you can top the watch up to 80 percent charge in just 50 minutes. Like other Fossil smartwatches, there is a battery saving mode which extends the life of your device by up to two days.

The watch weighs just 28g and is waterproof up to 3 ATM. Alongside the heart rate monitor, there is NFC-support for Google Pay and even a built-in GPS sensor for location tracking.
