A Quick Fix for Slow “Downloads” Folders in Windows 10

Is your Downloads folder not loading quickly enough? When you accumulate a large amount of files, opening it in Windows 10 can take ages. But there’s an easy solution! You probably have all sorts of files downloaded, not just one type. By default, though, Windows 10 will optimize the folder for photos. This is great if that’s all you’re storing, but if you diversify your downloading habits, this will cause slowdowns. You can change this setting by right-clicking on the folder while in an Explorer window, then clicking Properties. From there, click the Customize tab, then change the drop down box...
