You don’t need to open Gmail’s web interface every time you want to find an old email. With one quick tweak, you can search your inbox from Chrome’s omnibar just like you search the web. All you have to do is add a custom search engine. Begin by clicking on the hamburger icon to the right of the Chrome’s omnibar, then click on Settings from the dropdown menu.
